If Akira is the leader of the group, Tian the second-in-command, Seita the resident cynic, Jun the brains, and Kei and Yuka the heart, then Mana is most certainly the comic relief. Mana complains about anything and everything, and she does it very eloquently. Mana is very energetic, even more so than Akira or the younger kids, and is easily excited, irritated, or frightened by the things going on around her. She can also be very observant when she wants to be – she’ll be one of the first to notice when things go wrong and the first to give a warning. For all of these reasons, Mana automatically becomes both an easy target for Seita’s angry outbursts and an irreplaceable partner in Jun’s impossible plans.
