The current administrator of the Digital World. Her personality and appearance are a match to the leader of the original 5 Chosen Children, Naoko Magami, at age 14. She was created and sealed in August 1999, after the events of Digimon Adventure came to a close, and was awakened immediately after the Great Shaking in August 2019. She was meant to be Gennai’s backup in case something ever happened to him.

Parents and Relatives

Nami Mitsuishi
Akira’s paternal grandmother. Also known as Naoko Magami in her youth. Unofficial leader of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Takashi Mitsuishi
Akira’s father. A Computer Science professor at Odaiba University, and a member of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Kyoko Nogami
Akira and Kei’s mother. Divorced from Takashi nine years before the start of the story, and married to Touma Nogami. Works in ITI’s Sales department, but usually works from home to take care of Kei. Former member of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Touma Nogami
Kei’s father. Chief Operations Officer of ITI, and Akira’s nemesis.

Kenji and Aiko Kazama
Seita and Yuka’s parents. Typical salaryman and housewife.

Taira Shu
Tian’s mother. Works as a chemist at a nearby industrial plant. A member of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Tao-rin Shu
Tian’s father. Died 11 years before the start of the story, as a hit by the Chinese government. Former member of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Souichi Yagami
Tian’s maternal uncle and Taira’s older brother. An investigative journalist, and a member of the Infinity Cyberinvestigation Agency.

Tai-shan and Jin-chen Tang
Tian’s paternal uncle and aunt. Typical salaryman and housewife.

Cai-lin Tang
Tian’s oldest cousin (age 19). Works as a Network Specialist for ITI China in Shanghai.

Yuu Tang
Tian’s younger cousin (age 12). Self-proclaimed hacker and programming expert.

Taosan and Ming Tang
Tian’s youngest cousins (twins, age 5).

Kazuya Aikawa
Jun’s father. An Aerospace Technologist at NASA, based at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Constantly swamped with work due to a recent Moon launch.

Asami Aikawa
Jun’s mother. A US Air Force pilot based in Florida. Currently away doing test piloting at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Michio Saitou
Mana’s father. An Officer in the US Navy based in Florida.

Natsumi Saitou
Mana’s mother. A part-time nurse at the local hospital.

Minoru Araneta
Rion’s father. President and CEO of Infinity Technologies, Inc., or ITI.

Suriana Araneta
Rion’s mother. Works as a fashion designer in Manila, Philippines.

Ryou Araneta
Rion’s older brother (age 16). Close friend and classmate of Akira during her year-long stay in America.

Groups and Organizations

Infinity Technologies, Inc.

Also known as ITI. The largest technological company on the planet as of the present day. Founded in the early 1980s by the Araneta family, it is responsible for many technological wonders such as the Magami OS used in the majority of the world’s computers, and the message board-like social media site AraNET. Its current, third-generation president and CEO is Minoru Araneta.

ITI provided assistance and technological services to governments and medical institutions around the world after the Great Shaking, allowing for a relatively short recovery period for most of the world (50 years).

ITI was the company that funded Project Mobius in 1988, the original project for the breakthrough to the Digital World. The project failed, causing an explosion and the disappearance of the two project leaders (Naoko Magami’s parents, who ended up in the Digital World).
