Digivices

Digivice S1

The Digivice model carried by the Chosen Children in the story's first half. The original pale blue color is the original Digivice, while the colored Digivices are copies. The button colors on the copy Digivices correspond to each child's primary Crest.

The purple and orange Digivice never actually appeared in the story, and is what would have been Akira's Digivice, had she not been given the original Digivice. However, since Akira's Digivice is an original, it changes colors to purple and orange when activated by her Crest, just like in the Digimon Adventure anime!

from her grandmother, Nami.

This Digivice model is capable of entering Overdrive Mode. When a Crest is slotted into a Digivice, it warp evolves a Digimon to Perfect level and grants 1 minute and 30 seconds of power equivalent to Ultimate level if that Digimon hasn’t reached Ultimate level yet. In special cases, Overdrive Mode warp evolves a Digimon to different forms.

(Examples include Terriermon to Rapidmon Armor Version and Guilmon to Megidramon)

Digivice S2 - D-Coder

The Digivice model carried by the Chosen Children in the story's second half. Identical in appearance to Digimon Tamers’ D-ark, but with a Crest slot at the top and no card slot.

Another view of the D-Coders:

Akira's Digivice (Prototype):

Originally, Akira's first Digivice was to be an icy, more transparent cyan blue, rather than the pale, baby blue of the original Digivice. This was to match the cyan color of her secondary Crest, Spirit. This idea was changed early in the story’s planning stages.

Likewise, Akira’s upgraded D-Coder color was to match the cyan blue color of her original Digivice. This was also changed early in the story’s planning stages.
